Adoption Process

1. Reach out to us

Make the call and let us help you. You can text or call us anytime at (850)308-1836. Our toll-free number is (888)883-6830. Or you can fill out the on-line form on this site and we will get in touch with you.

2. Learn about the loving option of adoption

If you’re facing an unexpected pregnancy, one of your first steps should be to gather information to allow you to decide what’s best for you and your baby. Only you can decide if adoption is right for you. We’re here to provide information and support, to allow you to make the best decision for you and your child. Learning about adoption is without cost or obligation. We welcome the opportunity to walk with you as you consider adoption.

3. Create your Adoption Plan

Help us evaluate your needs and create an Adoption Plan that meets those needs.

We will meet with you and determine what assistance you need. We can help ensure you receive medical care, counseling, assistance with living expenses, transportation and maternity clothing and help you create a personalized adoption plan that is right for you and your child.

We will work with you to find just the right adoptive family. You may have as much involvement as you would like and you may select and meet the adoptive family and get to know them, if you would like.

Once you have selected your adoptive family, and as you get closer to the birth of your child, we will help you develop your hospital plan and understand what to expect at the hospital. You’re in charge to create your plan, to decide if and when you would like interaction with the adoptive family and if you would like them to visit with your child.

Do you plan to hold and visit with the baby during the time at the hospital? Do you want one or both of the adoptive parents in the delivery room or shortly thereafter? Are you comfortable with the adoptive family having access to your baby while he or she is at the hospital after birth?  Would you like to spend time with the family? If you desire, many hospitals will allow the adoptive family to have a room at the hospital where they can care for the baby.

Do you want to name your baby? As the mother, you have the right to name your baby. Some moms choose not to do that, others have taken time in selecting a name for their baby, and others want to work with the adoptive family to come up with a name meaningful to everyone.

We want to listen to your desires and help you make the right plan for you.

4. Post Adoption Services

By this time, we will have worked with you and the adoptive family to assist you both to move forward, after birth and placement, in a positive way. We’re also here for you to ensure you receive post adoption counseling and if you would like, to participate in our Birth Mother Support Group.
